Rule 1: Mining protection: "No loot, no shoot".

​Subject to exceptions, Survey class ships can only be attacked if their cargo is over the protected cargo capacity (OPC).

Zero Node Warning

A player can clear (destroy) a miner on a zero (empty) node of the system is full and after a 2 minute warning regardless of cargo capacity on any node except token space.​

​

Rule 2: PVP-Free Systems

No PVP (Player vs player) or debuffing allowed in token space (systems that require tokens to enter).

 

EXCEPTIONS: In species 8472 token systems (Delta quadrant) the rule does not apply to ships mining on nodes other than the voyager.

This includes stinging (debuffing)

Rule 3: Exceptions

3a) Station attacks

When an alliance conducts a station attack in a system, all survey ship class ships of the attacking alliance in that system lose protection from the defending alliance for the duration of the raid.

3b) Territory space

Survey ships that are UPC are not protected in another alliance's territory space. Survey ships are ONLY protected whilst UPC in their own alliance's territory space. This protection is revoked during a contested takeover event.

3c) PvP survey ships

Players who's survey ships engage in pvp activities will not be protected by UPC survey protection for 30 minutes. The timer restarts after every hit. (This does not replace rule 3a or existing territory rules)

Event Rules

Outside of token space, if a PvP action actively contributes towards scoring for an SLB, SMS or ALB event, for example victory or loss in battle, or capturing resources, it will not be considered a breach of ROE while the event is active.

​

UPC-protection of survey-class ships, when mining, will remain during any event.

 

Unless you are contesting the ALB as an alliance, please be adults about shooting Envoys of players trying to complete event in other ways (such as hailing frequencies).

Warships

Franklin and Franklin A are protected in swarm space.

Otherwise, Warships are only protected in the armada circle.
